191In part 4 of this let's play of Vintage Story 1.14 played on Wilderness Survival, I build a Charcoal Pit and fire it up while I go out looking for surface Copper. Since it takes a while to create Charcoal - several days depending on the size of the Charcoal Pit, it's best to get the Charcoal Pit going while exploring the world. Charcoal burns at a very high temperature that's needed to smelt Copper.
