First Corrupted Gauntlet Clear
1Took 13 normal completions and 8 deaths as well as 9 corrupted deaths but I've now cleared another 2 times with only 1 more death.
It took a few tries just to get the boss down, but I think the biggest changes I made were being more afraid of the tornados than the damage tiles, and recognizing that the damage tiles change quite fast.
I should run the most open path I can even if it goes right past a tornado since it won't hit me, and I should run through damage squares over letting the tornados bunch up on me since I'll just die instantly if that happens.
The squares deactivate after 3 seconds in the last phase anyways so you probably won't even take that much damage for running over them, they might be about to change regardless.
For the other stuff like prayer and weapon switching, the normal gauntlet was really good practice for that stuff since it's mostly just remembering to do it, at first I would forget and just get instantly wiped by the boss since off prayer does a lot of damage.
Probably the biggest improvements in prep I made that made this possible was going for T2 armor instead of T1 and doing stuff like potions first so I don't forget later and can drop my mortar and pestle immediately, as well as knowing I need 380 shards to make the full armor and second weapon.
