First FPV Plane (AXN) flight - uncut, raw and possibly a bit boring
7Some things to say about this video. It's my first flight FPV on a plane, and it's here in it's entirety... that's because there are no exciting highlights as such, it's just me flying around and not crashing.
Video quality is obviously a bit crap - this is mainly due to my very rubbish DVR which records in 320x240, and any static seems to be magnified in it's recording. The camera is also the $17 HobbyKing board cam, which actually looked pretty good in the FatSharks since the sun was out, but does suffer contrast issues from light to dark.
My second flight was much better (there were some lovely pan's into turns) and I was really itching to see the recording, but my DVR decided it ran out of battery and so didn't save anything at all. A new DVR will and must be purchased !
Big thanks here to Richard (FlyBoySee) who threw my plane up for me, spotted, and gave me advice all the way through. Very useful to have someone who knows what they are doing standing close by.
