The touching tale of a lab rat who decides to breakdance his way to vengeance.

So apparently NIS America has decided they're once again in the business of publishing NIS games that aren't called Disgaea, and I'm glad they did because Mad Rat Dead is fantastic. The audiovisual presentation speaks for itself, but the controls are intuitive and responsive, and once you can get yourself in the mindset of following the rhythm and the very specific movement patterns, it all comes together to something really special.

I will say I'm not a huge fan of hard mode at this point, as it feels like you're playing two different rhythm games at the same time. We'll see how I feel as I get better at the game. It's definitely harder!
