First Impressions: Black Lake Prototype
0I tried out Black Lake created by Double Fine from the Amnesia Fortnight event.
Overall I like the game and it has some creative elements with solid gameplay.
Kinda had a hard time finding what to say in the video, but it's a fairly immersing game for how short it was. I felt myself really curious and lost in that forest for a little while even though it kinda drags you along a path.
I'd personally love to see this game expanded upon even if it would turn out to be a short game.
At one point I will probably look at one other prototype from Double Fine and that would be White Birch. Although I'd like to try surviving Spacebase DF-9 as long as possible, some missing parts of the mechanics bug me a little.
