First Impressions On: Dark Matter

On this episode of First Impressions, I wake up on a deserted spaceship with amnesia and cryo-damage to the brain, with an only an AI to guide me. Sound familiar? It pretty quickly becomes apparent that alien parasites are afoot (aclaw?) and the ship's systems need to be repaired by the sole surviving maintenance worker. Sound familiar? Then it turns out the devs ran out of money and deciding to release the game anyhow without mentioning it, and when faced with backlash try to say the game was meant to be episodic. Which is a shame, because the gameplay isn't bad or anything.
