First Impressions On: The Gunk

On this episode of First Impressions, struggling space haulers Rani and Becks take a gamble on following a mysterious energy spike in hopes of finding their next payday. Rani drops down to the surface to scout the area and see if it's worth landing on the planet, and it's not long before we spot some organic gunk blocking our path. Rani uses her handy vacuum glove to suck it all up, which reveals a spring with a similar energy reading to our mysterious signal. After some further succing it becomes apparent that the eponymous Gunk is somehow suppressing all organic life around it, and removing it causes the local flora to dramatically spring back to life. So, we'll need to traverse the planet in search of our mysterious signal, clearing out all the Gunk we encounter along the way while harvesting local materials to upgrade our gear. And while this planet is no Vesta, the flora does prove to have a number of handy applications for platforming.
