Last Epoch has been a blast so far from my first impressions. This is just my first character and I went in basically blind so there's definitely been some challenges, but I wanted to share what gameplay looks like at about level 60. Disregarding the build itself, I thought the melee combat was very fluid and satisfying, and I think the premise of the setting is kind of interesting. Boss fights feel impactful and 'fair' in a way that kind of sets it apart from PoE in many cases, with telegraphs and understandable mechanics.

In terms of build diversity and items, as far as I can tell there are so many ways to modify each skill and class - I come from a PoE background so I'll compare it roughly to that - the large nodes on the skill-specific trees are kind of like support gems, and offer interesting ways of scaling. Though it is mostly a melee-focused tree to begin with, I think the fact that there are spell-specific nodes gives me hope for more variety in builds even within a single sub-class.
