First Look - Distant Star : Revenant Fleet
*Note* Distant Star : Revenant Fleet is in Steam Early Access. The developers listen to the community and do patch regularly. Always great to see/hear when talking about Early Access.
Apparently I'm bad at getting into fights! However, when I DO manage to get into fights, I win! :)

What is Distant Star : Revenant Fleet?
Distant Star : Revenant Fleet is a small scale RTS game with roguelike elements mixed in. The best way I could describe it would be if you combined the Galaxy Map, jumps, and roguelike features of FTL: Faster Than Light, with Aarklash: Legacy's Real time strategy elements and tactical pause feature. You can mix and match ships in your small fleet of 5 as you race across the galaxy to save your homeworld. In addition, you gain experience, new equipment and cash to buy more as you deal with the random events generated at each jump. You can choose to fight your way through and slaughter all in your path through real time tactical battles, or try some subterfuge and trick foes into think you are friends to gain access to more equipment and avoid a nasty fight. Your homeworld is in danger, it's up to you to save it. Distant Star : Revenant Fleet has the potential to instantly be a timeless game, keep your eye on it!
My thanks to Blazing Griffin for reaching out to me and making me aware of this title. I do sift and sort through many Greenlight and Steam Early Access games fairly regularly, but things do slip through the cracks. I'm so glad this one didn't!
