First Look - Guild Of Dungeoneering - Ep. 2 - I Am A Lemming!
Apparently I'm not very good or lucky with the bruiser. I seem to start off fairly strong and then just end up failing by the end. Ahh well, it's still fun! :)
It's time to crack my knuckles and prepare for some cards! I'm going to more than likely show you how NOT to create your own Guild of Heroes and send them on quests to slay monster and get phat treasure-loot. Guild Of Dungeoneering is quite unique in it's approach to these things as you have no direct control over the hero, rather you coax them into doing what you want as you build the dungeon around them and fill it with monsters and treasure. Here's hoping it all works out!

What is Guild Of Dungeoneering?
Guild of Dungeoneering is one of the most unique games I've ever played. Instead of controlling a hero and delving into a dungeon to murder opponents and get phat treasure-loot you do something quite different. You build the dungeon around the dungeoneer and you place treasure and monsters from cards that you get every turn. You try to direct or "entice" the dungeoneer to go where you want them. You do battle in a turn based fashion, counter playing the enemies attacks with attacks of your own drawn from your battle deck. The art style is all hand drawn and very doodle-esque. The sound track and singing bard is fantastic and that's just scratching the surface. You'll grow your guild, place buildings to bring in new heroes, and increase your decks with more power items and effects. Can you plot out a winning course to complete the quest, if so....can you entice your hero to follow that course? Come join me for a few First Look episodes of The Guild Of Dungeoneering!
My thanks to the folks at Versus Evil and Gambrinous for allowing me to showcase Guild Of Dungeoneering on my channel. It's a pretty brutal game, but it has definitely kept a smile on my face! You can't help but love the bard and music!
