Today Hesse and WigWam give their first impressions of the new mystery thriller, Return of the Obra Dinn! A game from the creator of papers please, Obra Dinn promises to be another unique experiment in gaming. The game features a one of a kind pointillism art style, aboard the good ship SS Obra Dinn.

The game takes place in the early 1800's where our main character seems to be tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to the crew of the Obra Dinn on it's final voyage. Arriving aboard the ship it's pretty easy to see what happened to at least a few members, they might quite the tragic end. But here's where the game really starts to get interesting. The game features a watch with the tagline Memento Mortis, remeber death. The watch allows you to show the final moments of someone by using it near their dead body. It's a mystery to figure out exactly what happened aboard this ship, and you've got quite the tool to figure it out.
