As an effort to access the inner Solar System we need a permanent infrastructure all across the Solar System.

And one way of doing it is by building a massive station to orbit around the sun and close to the inner celestial bodies.

Building it using the Space Shuttle : extended cargo bay variant and some other rockets piece by piece.

This first quarter is the living spaces for the dozens of crew that will be on board to command the station.

The Space Shuttle is a great vehicle to build station with, it has a high payload capacities and the vehicle itself is very versatile. With extended cargo bay, we can really stuff the shuttle with all sort of cargo without having to worry about space being a problem

Unfortunately the second shuttle did not survive reentry, the back thruster failed to light in time and causing the whole thing to disintegrate, losing all 7 crew that was commanding it (press F in chat)

I don't have much time to record and edit this, my week has been spent building the gravity ring itself
I recorded this this morning and earlier I have my second vaccine shot, so that's take a good chunk of the day. (I'm writing this before I go do the shot, so I don't know how much time it took to do that. Hopefully not that much, hopefully I have time to edit this video. Time on YouTube is wierd)
