First Thoughts: Cozy Grove
1i've been playing this game a little every day since making the video! it's really relaxing and comfy, i like it a lot c:
they pushed an update recently that made a bunch of nice quality-of-life improvements: stacks of a single item can be much much bigger, when you pick things up you get an unobtrusive little bubble that tells you what you got and how much of it, the art for cooked shrooms and veggies got changed to make them a lot more visually distinct from fruit, when placing furniture you actually get a little cursor you can move around to be precise, the inventory no longer "floats" items to the top when you pick them up so organising your items is a lot more consistent, lots of nice stuff
i checked the steam update news and there's actually even more great quality-of-life changes coming, they just aren't on the switch yet because nintendo take ages to vet game updates? so that's really exciting. i'm glad the cozy grove devs are putting in the effort to address all the little niggles this game had at launch, it's already so much more playable and fun and there's still more goodness to come :3
i really wish the folks behind a certain other life simulation game for the switch that relies on your real-time clock had also decided to make loads of really nice qol updates....... :/
