4i've played lots more since recording this! it gets super hard, but also it's really fun
i do kiiiiiiinda wish you chose from a few different varieties of run at the beginning, like the weapon choice in hades, or selecting a character in slay the spire or monster train or binding of maggy? undermine runs can feel a little samey since you always have the same basic weapon, even though you do get different relics each time, which is a bit of a problem for a roguelite game
eventually you do get the option to swap out your little canary for a different friend at the start of each run, but it still doesn't make a huge difference to the way you play and you're not really encouraged to change them up, unlike hades pretty much telling you to switch weapons for each run? i dunno, maybe it's unfair to compare to hades, since that game is incredible
