Also switching places because of a surprise attack removed half of our attacks and I thought that was supposed to happen to teach us the basics. I don't like tutorials.

My goal is to master the game as fast as possible and starting a Stygian Campaign for my first playthrough should be the most efficient way, though there is a lot to learn and the UI is not really beginner friendly. In any case, the learning process (from noob to master) for a difficult indie classic will be very interesting by itself, at least for me. Hopefully for you too. Thanks for watching!
