I was definitely able to pull off the Quick Kill exploit against Kraid in Super Metroid on the FIRST TRY. If you pull off this quick kill method, you can defeat Kraid before he rises up and begins the second phase of the boss fight.

Furthermore, the Kraid Quick Kill causes a funny glitch that locks the camera in place, so Samus can run off screen. You'll have to hold right and jump and shoot a bit to make your way through the door on the right to grab the Varia Suit.
