Continued from the last episode, I had to go back to the Main Menu is order to pick up the Fishtooth Hooks from my Home Storage in order to start my search for the Elusive Arapaima Monster fish! I start off at a marker for the Elusive Arapaima that was given to me from one of my viewers in the swampy area on the north side of Maku Maku lake.
After catching several young and a common sized arapaima at this location, I end up fishing through an entire night without locating the Elusive Arapaima. The next night, I end up going to another arapaima hotspot to try my luck there. I end up catching several more young arapaima, one common sized, and finally a Trophy! The only problem is that the Elusive Arapaima continues to be... Elusive!
I did manage to learn as few things which includes:
- The Elusive Arapaima only bites at NIGHT!
- The Fishtooth Hooks (5 total) will only catch the arapaima species. However it is not exclusive to the Elusive Arapaima
- The Fishtooth Hooks will work with bottom rods and float fishing rods, so you can fish with up to 5 rods total!
