I've been wrong this whole time..the key of this game is not speed.. It's sound..

as we know. Night 5 is all about Fredbears. so here is his mechanics.
Move only if you hear him moving. there are 6 sound as follows:
running left, running right, walking left, walking right, big laugh, soft laugh.

The two walking sound ans his soft laugh is sometimes hard to be heard. so be careful.

If you hear running/walking. move to that direction immediately. and flash. he should be there. if not. slowly flash the hallway.He's still he's there, but not yet at the hallway. He'll eventually appear (in case you don't hear any other sound) Many players think it's safe, so he go to the other door. that's wrong and could kill you. so wait for the sound.

If you see him, you close door for a few seconds, you open it, he's not there, but you don't hear any sound after that. He's just back off. stay there and slowly flick the flashlight. He'll appear again if he's not moving

If you hear laugh sound. he's either on bed, or closet. check those. if he's on bed, light him until he's gone. Don't flick the flashlight! (mash the ctrl button) if he's in the closet, close the door and wait for the sound.

Sometimes two or three sounds can be heard at almost the same time. this is his mechanics. he can move instantly, but the sound has it's delay. If you hear something like this. The last sound heard is his real location. e.g. you hear laugh (which indicate he's either on bed or closet) then you hear footsteps, just skip the closet and look to the door.

So.. no pattern like left door, right door or something like that.. Just hear..

If you hear him running/walking to a door, you go there, flick for a few times but he still doesn't appear, try to go to the other door, and flick just one time. maybe you missed the second footsteps because it's covered with the first one.


When you know that you're going to die for sure, that means you got his mechanics.
