39 and the gang are all ready to defeat the final boss. In battle at certain points, he releases his minions that he used against the gang in their tests to prove themselves worthy. After defeating the final boss, 39 is left alone with the shadow versions of himself and his friends. He talks to them and realizes that he did some really bad things to his friends. However, when he talks to his shadow self, he realizes that there's still time to save plushie from the demon that took him. Then he wakes up out of his dream and is set to rescue plushie.
