Steps to Fix Unable to Play or Hear the Audio Files in Cool Edit Pro 2, Fix Problem with Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on Windows 10

• Open Cool Edit Pro
• Go to Options and select Device Order
• On the right-hand side you will see all your audio Devices under Multi track Device Preference Order
• Move your speaker or headphone up to 1st slot and click on Use in EV
• Now move the Wave Mapper to the 2nd slot
• Click on OK, close Cool Edit Pro and re launch it
