1How To Fix EA App Error Code EC:104 Background Services Crashed On PC
Step 1) If EA Servers are down or is under maintenance then that may be reason, check for any outage on EA website/EA X Account Page
Step 2) Make sure date, time, time zone and region is correct on your PC, sync the date & Time
Step 3) Close all EA process/EA Services in task manager
Step 4) Run EA App as an administrator
Step 5) Start EA Background Service
Step 6) Run EA App Updater
Step 7) Clear EA App Cache
Step 8) Repair EA App- Use uninstall option to repair/install EA App Installer and go for repair
Step 9) Update Windows to the latest version
Step 10) Turn off/Turn On VPN
Step 11) Run this command net stop winnat
Step 12) If using porofessor overwolf app then try uninstalling it, also reset settings in killer control centre app.
Step 13) Delete Windows Temp Files
Step 14) Try Google DNS Server
Step 15) Try preferred DNS server type 1.1.1.1 and for alternate DNS server type 1.0.0.1, restart your pc.
Step 16) Uncheck "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)"
Step 17) Turn off proxy in Windows settings
Step 18) If you have set environment variables for “http_proxy” and “https_proxy” then delete them. Reset all network adaptors to factory settings or remove all your proxy settings in environment variables if you did something like that.
Step 19) If you are using third party anti-virus software, please exclude these exe files in your antivirus program:
Path: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\exe
EADesktop.exe
Link2EA.exe
EALauncher.exe
If using ESET security then go to Main program window/Setup/Network protection/Resolve blocked communication, click Unblock, you can disable antivirus program only while launching EA App and once done playing the game enable your antivirus program/add EA app exe and game exe to antivirus programs
Step 20) Restore Firewalls to default and open the EA app as the administrator
Step 21) Install Visual C++ Files

Step 22) Perform power cycle- Shut down your computer, unplug the power cable for 1-2 minutes, turn off WIFI router, wait for few seconds and restart your WIFI router, connect the power cable back to PC and then restart your computer
Step 23) Run these commands
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
netsh interface ipv4 reset
netsh interface ipv6 reset
netsh interface tcp reset
Step 24) Switch to different network, use mobile hotspot
Step 25) If Using Steam/Gamepass Account to play EA Games, then try log in at EA app using Steam/Gamepass Account.
Step 26) If receiving Error Code EC:204/105 go offline in EA app, launch the game and then go online
Step 27) Uninstall EA app using revo uninstaller and reinstall EA App
