How To Fix Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT Error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG/DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
Step 1) Restart Steam, restart PC
Step 2) If you can launch the launcher then turn off, Frame Generation, Dynamic Resolution Scaling and try windowed mode, disable HDR if you have disabled the launcher then put --launcher in launch option to enable launcher again
Step 3) Reset the video settings in the game launcher
Step 4) Install & Run pspc_sdk files
Step 5) Delete PSPC_SDK in C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc
Step 6) Uninstall PlayStation PC SDK Runtime, if you face any issue install pspc_sdk files
Step 7) Disconnect Bluetooth headphones/Speaker, launch the game, once up and running, reconnect Bluetooth headphones/Speaker, turn off Bluetooth, disconnect any Bluetooth dongle connected
Step 8) Run the game from the game installation folder, Run the game as an administrator, try compatibility mode, disable full screen optimization, check Override high DPI scaling behavior, make sure it’s set to Application.
Step 9) If you are using any third-party antivirus like Comodo, Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, bit defender, then allow the game exe to your antivirus program. Windows Security users allow the game exe file to controlled folder access and firewall, if you are using Malwarebytes, add game exe files and the complete game folder to the Ransomware Protection module exclusion list
Step 10) Perform clean installation of graphics driver

Step 11) Run the game on dedicated graphics card, make sure that your monitor is plugged in to the correct dedicated graphics card
Step 12) Roll back graphics driver (576.28/ 566.36)
Step 13) Turn on/off Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling
Step 14) If using OneDrive make sure you are logged in or close OneDrive
Step 15) Rename sl.pcl.dll file, create a backup
Step 16) Verify the game files
Step 17) Try power saver mode/install intel extreme tuning utility tool
Step 18) Update system BIOS

Step 21) Unplug external devices such as hotas, pedals, racing wheel, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disable steam overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, Nvidia app, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay). Do not overclock, set it default, close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, close third-party services such as nahimic services/lightingservice.exe etc. in task manager remove the undervolt
Step 22) Increase Virtual Memory
Step 23) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
