Fix- Google Nest Mini Not Working ! [Frozen & Unresponsive]
If your Google Nest Mini has become unresponsive, frozen, or not turning on, this video will walk you through several effective ways to troubleshoot and fix the issue. The Nest Mini, a compact and powerful smart speaker by Google, is typically very reliable. However, like any smart device, it can occasionally freeze or stop responding due to connectivity issues, software glitches, or power interruptions.
The simplest fix is to perform a soft reboot. To do this, unplug the power cord from the Nest Mini, wait for about one minute, and then plug it back in. This quick refresh often resolves minor software hiccups that may be causing the device to freeze.
If rebooting doesn’t solve the issue, you can attempt a factory reset. First, switch off the microphone using the small slider on the side of the device. You’ll know it’s muted when the light indicator turns orange. Then, press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the LED lights are located on top. Hold for at least five seconds until you hear a confirmation sound, and continue holding for about ten more seconds to begin the reset process.
After resetting, you’ll need to reconfigure your device in the Google Home app on your smartphone. Open the app, follow the prompts to set up a new device, and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
If your Nest Mini still isn’t working after a reset, try removing the saved Wi-Fi network. In the Google Home app, go to the device settings, tap the three-dot icon, and select "Forget Network." Then reconnect by selecting your network again. You can also use the app to issue a manual reboot by selecting "Reboot" from the device options.
