These steps will not help if servers are down
Step 1) Make sure that your computer isn't downloading Windows updates or any games or streaming videos- if Windows is updating let the update complete
Step 2) Close all other application which may using bandwidth
Step 3) Don't use a VPN or Proxy
Step 4) Run Network Troubleshooter
Step 5) Run these commands
Ipconfig /flushdns
Ipconfig /release
Ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset

Step 6) Perform Network Reset- Make sure you have the WIFI password
Step 7) Allow the game NewWorldLauncher.exe and NewWorld.exe to Windows Firewall
