How To Fix PEAK Black Screen Issue On PC
Step 1) Try -force-d3d12 in launch options
Step 2) Try PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 in launch option, select dx12 while launching the game
Step 3) (Skip this step if not able to launch the game) If able to launch the game and facing campfire crash, look down at the ground as you enter the Tropics area, keep looking down until you need to climb, light the campfire and look away from the loading zone, then after it says the forest day 2 slowly begin to turn around. Avoid using Alt+Tab, Set the maximum fps in the game to you monitor refresh rate, lower down graphics settings
Step 4) Change your monitor to the correct video output, change monitor video output to 2K/1920X1080
Step 5) Try this in launch option
-screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
Step 6) Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Landcrab\Peak
Delete all settings starting with “Screenmanager”
Step 7) Rename PEAK folder in C:\Users\Test\AppData\LocalLow\LandCrab, create a backup first (You may lose all the game progress)
Step 8) Allow the game exe file to Antivirus program Avast, norton, bit defender, McAfee, Comodo, Webroot etc./Windows Security & firewall
Step 9) Run the game from game installation folder, try running as an administrator, try compatibility mode
Step 10) Verify the game files
Step 11) Perform a clean installation of latest graphics card driver

Step 12) Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 13) Unplug External devices such as hotas, wheel, pedals, mouse, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors, turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, close third-party services such as nahimic services/lightingservice.exe etc. in task manager, remove the undervolt
Step 14) Do not overclock (set it to default), close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, Nvidia App, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay)
Step 15) Update Windows

Step 17) Increase the Virtual Memory
Step 18) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
