Fix Rise of the Ronin Not Loading/Stuck On Loading Screen
1Are you stuck on the loading screen while trying to play Rise of the Ronin on PC? Does the game refuse to load or freeze indefinitely? In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step solutions to fix the loading screen issue and get you back into the game.
Steps in this Video:
Step 1) Verify the game files
Step 2) Delete the config file
Step 3) your antivirus program Allow the game exe file to /Windows Security and Firewall
Step 4) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder, try running the game in compatibility mode
Step 5) Try -dx11 or -dx12 in launch options
Step 6) Do a clean installation of graphics driver https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/... https://www.amd.com/en/support Step 7) Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 8) Close the game exe in task manager if it’s there and try launching the game again
Step 9) Close WeMod and anti-cheat programs like FACEIT Anti-cheat etc. or any other Anti-Cheat program
Step 10) Disconnect the controller, launch the game and then reconnect the controller once the game is up and running
Step 11) Unplug hotas, wheel, pedals, mouse, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors, Turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, end nahimic services & lightingservice.exe in task manager, close Firefox/chrome browser and third-party app, remove the undervolt
Step 12) Disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, perform clean boot
Step 13) AMD Users install AMD 25.2.1 Optional Update/AMD 25.1.1 Optional
Step 14) Try Debug mode in the Nvidia control panel, optimize the game in Nvidia app
Step 15) Try launching the game in big picture mode
Step 16) Increase the Virtual Memory: View Advanced system settings Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram

Step 20) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
