Fix TP-Link WPA4220 Network Dropping Out Problem
The TP-Link WPA4220 powerline extenders work very well, except that there is a common problem where the network connectivity suddenly stops for no reason. The lights on the device are still on, but it has definitely stopped working. The only way to fix it is to power the device off at the wall and then back on again.
How I improved the situation in the video is to install a previous version of the firmware. I have a version 4 device pre installed with firmware V4_190326. I have installed the previous firmware version V4_180308.

Now, my device cuts out less but still every 2-7 days about, but restarts itself. Very rarely do I need to crawl under my desk and flick the power switch off then on anymore. I just need to be patient if the network cuts out and wait 30 seconds to a minute for it to reset itself.
It is still not ideal, but it is better. And I continue to use these devices on my network.
