Fix Webcam Not Working Issue After Windows 10 Anniversary Update

If you have just rolled out your Windows 10 Anniversary Update and now you’re webcam doesn’t work properly, you are not alone, there are millions of webcams users who are suffering from the major issue with their webcam after their upgrade to Windows 10 anniversary. Microsoft says that is aware of the webcam problem, but Microsoft have said in a statement that they won’t be issuing a permanent fix or solution until sometime in September. Steps to Fix Camera Freezing Issue on Skype

1. Open Regedit

2. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform

3. Create New / DWORD (32-bit) Value

4. Name the value EnableFrameServerMode

5. Restart computer
