If your laptop suddenly doesn’t see the wi-fi networks around you, like mine does here, even if your wifi is turned on, DO THIS:

Either right-click on My Computer and click Manage, or just search for Computer Management.

In this menu go to device manager, Network adapters, Click this small arrow to drop down the options, Right click on the Wifi Driver, Update Driver, Search for the Driver, Install it and see if it works.
If it doesn’t work, then Right Click and go to Uninstall Device. Then right click, Go to Scan for hardware changes and your adapter should be back, this time working. I hope this video helped.
