How to Uninstall a Program

It's a good idea to look through the programs and software on your computer and remove anything you don't need or use. This is a way to free up space on your hard drive to make the computer run faster. Method 1: 
1. Click on your Start menu. 
2. Click "All Programs."
3. Go to a specific program and find the uninstall option. 

Method 2: 
1. Click on your Start menu.
2. Click on the control panel.
3. Go to Uninstall Program (underneath Programs)
4. Select the specific program you want to uninstall. 

Things to Know When Uninstalling
---------------------------------------------------------------------

* Do not uninstall a program by deleting it from the directory. This will not remove everything that's attached to the program and may leave some files behind. 

* Once you've made more free space on your hard drive, you'll be able to defragment your computer. Defragmenting requires at least 15 percent free space on the hard drive.
