FIXED: Windows 10 October Update 1809 SAFE TO DOWNLOAD NOW (Bug Explanation)
1,677Microsoft has worked to FIX the Windows 10 1809 October update. Previously, the feature update was deleting user files, causing a bit of a panic. Sure, it only impacted 0.01% of users, but that's still a lot of people at risk of data loss. The update has been fixed and re-deployed, and Microsoft has worked to improve the Feedback Hub with goals of preventing this from ever happening again.
NOTE: my math is bad, I'm running on little sleep. It's .01% NOT .01x 400 million. Oh well, the point stands, enjoy your free angry comment bait.
