Who knew that giant, murderous, Dread Duckies would be so terrifying?! A killer duck game shouldn't be this scary but Dark Deception Stranger Sewers (a level from Dark Deception chapter 3) proves yet again that they can make basically ANYTHING scary...and it's even worse in VR. Dark Deception VR continues today as I reach the 4th level in the campaign and come face to face with the Dark Deception Dread Duckies and a surprising GIANT DUCK BOSS to top it all off all the killer duck fun...

Dark Deception VR has been rumoured for a long time and the game even has Oculus files in its configuration folders but there is still no "official" way to unlock the long sought after VR mode. SO I had to turn to my old friend Vorpx to get Dark Deception VR working, I was able to get a Z3D version of the game running with some decent headtracking for the most immersive experience currently available...and I regretted it immediately!

This Dark Deception VR gameplay covers every level of the Dark Deception campaign (whilst we wait for Dark Deception chapter 4) in virtual reality. The aim of the game is simple (it's basically a Pacman horror game), players just have to collect all the crystals located within a maze whilst avoiding the horrors that lurk around every corner, once all the crystals have been collected it's time to get the hell out and move onto the next stage. Dark Deception chapter 1, 2 & 3 are all available now & I'll play through all other stages in VR whilst we wait for the final chapter, Dark Deception chapter 4, to launch. Even though it's not native (yet) Dark Deception has the potential to be one of the scariest VR games out there with tonnes of replayability.
