If you've ever dreamt of a VR James Bond or VR Mission Impossible game then this 2019 VR spy game from Twisted Pixel might just be the game for you. Defector is an exclusive to the Oculus PC VR platform and is one of the best VR hidden gems I've played in recent years. I'm sure many VR players picked up and enjoyed this one back in 2019 but now with so many new VR users joining the community this is easily one of the best VR games available that doesn't get included in conversations which usually only include the biggest titles (Alyx, Boneworks, Saints & Sinners, Beat Saber etc...). If you're an Oculus Quest 2 owner you will need a PC to experience this one but if you have the PC VR set up it runs beautifully on Quest 2 PC VR link and is still one of the nicest looking VR games out there. Let's go VR skydiving...

This Defector VR gameplay was captured from the first mission of the campaign and is presented here almost uncut, the mission took just over 30 minutes to complete and is one part of a 5 mission campaign. The missions in Defector can be played mutliple times and do have branching paths & objectives so replayability & arcade fun will pad out the games runtime. There are also unlockable cheats & filters to mix up and change the gameplay experience for players who want to test themselves or try some whacky challenge runs. Personally for £16 I think Defector might be one of the best VR hidden gems around and I'm surprised it isn't spoken about more in the VR community alongside some of the other flagship titles.
