FL-Studio Song 20: Life Is Just a Mirage? (Genesis-esque Carnival Music, Echo & Pitch Edit)
3Do not let the title scare you. It just goes along with the song as it is much more ideal and bouncy than what this song's title would imply. I themed it after a beach carnival during the sunset, hence the image I have in the background of this video.
A lot of inspiration from different video game tracks made me come up withthis song, such as the B-Doing Woods theme of Pac-Man World 2, the beat and rhythm of Ocarina of Time's "Song of Storms", Ristar's "Ice Scream" theme, the Act Clear theme of Sonic 1 & 2, and even quick callbacks to some of my older songs, such as Song 12 (Another Fair Summer Evening) and Song 15 (Decisive Decisions). One part of this song even using some instruments straight out of Sonic 3D Blast's Genesis theme for Spring Stadium Zone.
I was also partially inspired by the feel-good music of Azumanga Daioh once again, namely the song "The Six are Always Together", as well as some songs that I've heard from games by a doujin soft designer, namely a game called Barely Breakout!
Most of all, I even tried another hand at making lyrics, dealing with one ideal person convincing another more skeptical person that not all that he thinks is imaginary actually is imaginary. How reality can be unforgiving at times, but at the same time rewarding.

This song loops twice with a -25% pitch twin layer to add to the second loop and harmonize with the main pitch. You'll know you've reached it when the song gets a bit louder. Sorry for that.
