Flak Atari 800 intro
4Flak, considered by some magazines as a variant of the famous Xevious arcade , is a vertical slider for one player at a time. An aircraft is controlled in 2096 while crossing enemy territory, armed with unlimited bombs to attack ground targets. The airplane can move in all directions but always steers forward, and launches the bombs by a fixed-distance sight just ahead of its nose.
The enemies are only fixed automatic defensive turrets ( FlaK is in fact a historical name given to anti-archery ), controlled by Computer Control, a crazy electronic brain. The turrets, of various geometric shapes, at irregular intervals open, shoot in the direction of the aircraft and close. When you get hit you lose a life and start again at the exact point where it was
