Flashback The Quest for Identity is a 1992 sci-fi cinematic platformer game developed by Delphine Software.
The game was directed, written and designed by Paul Cuisset. Flashback was initially released for the Amiga in 1992, and then ported to MS-DOS, Acorn Archimedes and Super NES in 1993. The Sega Mega Drive / Genesis version was also released. CD-ROM versions of Flashback for the Sega CD, 3DO, CD-i, MS-DOS, Apple Macintosh were released during 1994 and 1995,along with a cartridge version for the Atari Jaguar in 1995. The game follows the adventures of Conrad B. Hart is chased by mutants in the year 2142.
The sequel to this game called Fade to Black: Flashback 2 was released in 1995 on PC, Playstation and Dreamcast
