Flipped Farters?! Part #21: Dusting Off Some Fartifacts (ONI: Spaced Out!)
0In this VOD of my Flatulent-only ONI: Spaced Out run, we collect some artifacts from near the Flipped Asteroid but realise we lack any CO2 storage or means of production there! So lacking the research for the Small Petroleum Rocket, we decide to, erm, burn Petroleum for CO2 and use that to fuel the rocket instead! We are sorely missing the Arbor Acorns for a Wood Burner in this scenario! Thankfully we had lots of Oil stored up in our bathroom on the Desolands asteroid. We also set up a Polluted Oxygen Vent tamer that should hopefully work in a few dozen cycles. And we get to see the new ONI lootboxes! Cycles 373-390 are in this video.
The overall aim of the run is to get to the late game without the performance issues that have sort of crippled previous runs. So we're going to keep a low dupe count (probably around 10 per asteroid max long term), a responsibly managed critter population, and do our best to tidy up the materials on our various asteroids. Hopefully we'll end up making some interesting designs without losing all of our frames!
