Flipped Farters?! Part #33: Sulfur Explosion and Door Pumping (ONI: Spaced Out!)
2In this VOD of my Flatulent-only ONI: Spaced Out run, we clear a larger space for our dedicated Natural Gas Room on the Metallic Swampy Asteroid and test out a Door Pump as an alternative to a Drip Pump for depressurising a geyser. We also have a Sulfur explosion on the Flipped Asteroid due to some Water exploding in a pipe, and events quickly escalate and cause the cooling machine to blow up. Thankfully we manage to repair everything but we decide to save building the Natural Gas works themselves until next time. Cycles 573-587 are in this video.
The overall aim of the run is to get to the late game without the performance issues that have sort of crippled previous runs. So we're going to keep a low dupe count (probably around 10 per asteroid max long term), a responsibly managed critter population, and do our best to tidy up the materials on our various asteroids. Hopefully we'll end up making some interesting designs without losing all of our frames!
