Join me in the flight deck as we roll back the years and fly the excellent FlyJSim 737-200. In this stream we’re flying a UK domestic route from Edinburgh to Southampton.
As this is a Non-RNAV equipped aircraft we can only navigate conventionally so we’ll follow airways based on VOR/DME navigation flying from beacon to beacon across the UK. We’ll then enter the SAM VOR hold over the airfield followed by the procedural ILS approach onto RW20 into Southampton

The primary purpose of this stream is to give you the opportunity to see how I operate the aircraft in real time using real world operating procedures.
Time permitting, I will try and answer some questions you might have about commercial aviation and operating the 737-800 in general.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately replicate the way the aircraft is flown based on my experience as an Airline Captain and Type Rating Instructor, this is purely for entertainment only.
