It has been a wild ride so far, but before I say anything, thank you everyone. From those who helped on the mod or were just looking forward to this update, thank you. A lot of things have been remade and redesigned which led to the 2 year wait. But I hope it was worth it.

We still have more planned, week 2 - 4 are getting a complete overhall and week 1 will be revisited to fix any issues that arise. While that is in development thought, I and the rest of the team hope you enjoy v.3 for FNF: Crossforce

STORY:
After countless rap battles, boyfriend returns to Daddy Dearest for a rematch. Pumped to finally settle their score once and for all with all the bets on this last battle.. Boyfriend is suddenly ripped out of his world and into a new, more strange world. With laws of it's own that hinder his ability to retry if he fails. Every moment now matters here with his life on the line as he tries to find his way out, but it wouldn't hurt to have a little fun... Right?

With the sudden disappearance of Boyfriend, Girlfriend finds Pico and convinces him to join her in finding Boyfriend. Unaware that the two of them would face against someone else in this world, an evil that holds no morals. They weren't lucky enough to end up where Boyfriend is, and their journey is going to be a rough one because of it

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.

The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets.
