FoEhints: Number 6/2020 of the Journal for Forge of Empires
Number 6/2020 of the Journal for Forge of Empires
0:20 brand new Look
1:06 Spicing up the Guild Expedition
1:49 Guild Battleground Improvements
Currently Forge of Empires receives a lot of little improvements. This is a good reason for a new issue of the Journal for Forge of Empires.
On the beta server you can already see the brand new look. The environment of your city now has a fresh green, perfect for spring. The new graphic also seems to have a higher resolution as it still looks great when zoomed in. I only can hope that after the new spring look we will also have designs for the other seasons. White Christmas in FoE would look nice, not only in the app.
The guild expedition will be spiced up. The ge rewards were a sensation – when they were published first. As the event buildings became better and better over time, the Fountain of Youth, Tribal Squares and Terrace Farms also need some improvements. Beside new designs the buildings receive a second level. Unfortunately I still don't have exact properties for these.
The new Guild Battleground Focus Mechanic are already implemented on the beta server. Guild Founders, Guild Leaders and Battleground Officers now can mark sectors as targets. This is just a visual effect and not forcing players. This means that players still are able to ignore that. This is the same with the Ignore Signal which recommends to not attack that sector. This ranked very high on the wish lists of guilds playing active in guild battlegrounds.
In the activity list the league points were added. The guild's League Points collected through several weeks decide about rising up or being delegated to a lower league.
The new levels of the Statue of Honor received some changes, including a forge point reduction. But I found some images of a Road to Victory, constructed by 3 slightly different buildings. I am excited to learn what I can achieve through these.
In the meantime I am working hard on new videos about fighting the Ancient Egyptians, the upcoming Archaeology Event and a step-by-step manual for the Ancient Egypt Settlement.
