This is the same place I shot the sunrise last year, but pointing in the opposite direction. If I'm at my parents cabin, I spend a lot of time here. Its always beautiful. I was too late for the sunrise, but it was way too foggy. So I shot the fog.

Attempted a manual pan in the middle because I was bored, having finished my sudoku. Using my tripod's protractor, I tried to pan the camera 1.25 degrees during the 6 seconds between each shot. I should have filmed a time lapse of me doing that.

The song is a cover by IndustryLeech from the internet of Tool's Eon Blue Apocalypse.

Oh, and I meant to do a fade at the end in-camera but closing down the aperture but I shot the whole thing at f7 or so and then started the fade at f2.8 so it looks like a nuke went off at the end.

Also, that jump in the middle that coincides with an accent in the music was not intentional. I paused the filming to put on a polarizing filter and missed a few frames. That's why the colors change and the video skips. Just happened to line up with the music perfectly.
