Follow Up Interview About Unturned II Featuring: Nelson The Creator of Unturned
9 months after my first interview with Nelson we do a follow up to talk about whats changed

●1:46 - Was this the last 3.0 update allowing you to focus more on Unturned 2?
●3:15 - How soon till can people start applying for beta access?
●4:44 - With you experimenting with blastzone does that mean there will be more official game modes such as arena,deathmatch,ect.?
●5:34 - How has the game performance been overall and do you think it will be more challenging to manage as more features are added?
●6:49 - Destructible environments?
●7:48 - Will there be forced graphics settings like having grass on to make it so you could hide in an open field rather then sticking out due to players having that setting off?
●8:05 - How the ghillie suit would work differently?
●10:03 - Is nelson leaning more twords hand made maps or randomly generated maps?
●12:48 - More dynamic map design. (removing/planting trees, maybe destructible buildings ect.)
●13:33 - How will base building work? (basic concepts)
●14:39 - Will there be digging in game?
●15:37 - What will happen to sky bases, underwater bases and free form building like placing plates?
●16:51 - Customizability is a big part of Unturned II but how far with this feature be implemented?
●17:53 - Will there be a bigger focus on crafting your own items or will it still be focused mainly on looting?
●18:45 - What does the partnership with Tencent mean for the future of Unturned 3.0?
●19:35 - Any thoughts twords raiding yet? (open ended or very strict)
●21:43 - Does nelson have any plans in place to stop people from logging off with gear?
●24:39 - Will there be a maintenance system to base building to keep players more invested in their base and the server?
●25:22 - How will the gun balance work?
●26:40 - Recoil is very simile in 3.0 how will it change for Unturned II?
●27:36 - Will there still be a gold pass for Unturned II?
●29:03 - Would you need the gold pass to have access to official servers?
●30:32 - If you already have the gold pass from Unturned 3.0 will it carry over into Unturned II
●31:00 - Will character customization be in Unturned II
●31:35 - Has nelson been working on anything other then whats on the road-map?

●33:19 - What game play element will you be working on now with the base driving and gun mechanics started?
●34:15 - Would this demo be available to players who signed up for the beta or still only for closed access for the time being
●34:58 - With controller support being added to you have any plans to release to console or purely PC
●35:13 - Splitscreen and to what extent will it be implemented
●36:26 - VR support?
●36:37 - How will the steam workshop work in Unturned II
●37:16 - Will there still be military vehicle spawns or would there mostly just be civilian vehicles for game balance
●38:35 - Would there be a similar system of critical hit points for player vs player fights?
●39:50 - How armor will factor into PVP
●41:36 - How will the zombies be improved
●43:54 - How will the experience/level up system work
●45:15 - Will there still be server plugins such as /TPA and /kits
●45:55 - Any ideas about map size yet
●48:13 - Will Unturned II be on the epic games store or on steam
●49:08 - How does nelson feel about the progression of Unturned II since the first devlog that was posted about a year and a half ago
●50:31 - Does nelson feel that taking the time to learn and create tools has made him a faster developer
●52:23 - Does nelson feel upcoming development will go faster now that he has experience developing in unreal
●54:26 - Will there be new implementations to stop hackers in Unturned II
●58:07 - Will there be a lot more PVE events in Unturned II
