Having been wanting to tackle another CSI episode analysis, I decided to change the formula a bit. Instead of examining and critiquing various aspects of a single episode and dividing that into multiple parts, I decided to focus on one aspect of an episode, and provide my analysis on its accuracy, as well as provide my own knowledge of the subject.
Bloodspatter analysis is one of my favorite subfields of forensics to learn and teach others about, and Season 1 Episode 7's Blood Drops seemed like the perfect episode to examine. And my analysis of the blood-related material might surprise and interest you.
