Shinobi for the nes was developed and released by Tengen in 1989, who was a unlicensed developer. Most of the their titles were questionable quality and Shinobi is no Exception. However, "The jabu" made a arcade hack for the game in 2015 and, to me at least, is definitely what the game should have looked like upon release! That's just my opinion, What is yours?
