FORGE | RGB Custom PC Build B-Roll
This is somewhat overdue, but earlier this year I finally got myself a new custom PC build after years of using generations-old hardware and I'm only now making use of some B-roll footage. What was supposed to be my holiday budget for the pandemic years led to this - probably at the worst possible time given the global semiconductor shortage. I guess I'm renewing my membership of the PC Master Race.
Case: Tecware Forge M
Motherboard: ASUS TUF B550M Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo RGB 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 3600Mhz
GPU: EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming
Primary Storage: 512GB XPG SX8200 Pro
Secondary Storage: 1TB Crucial MX500
PSU: SUPERFLOWER Leadex III 850W Gold Full Modular
Not the fanciest build out there, but it's well within my needs running on a QHD 144Hz display. The 3700X and RTX 3070 Ti combo also appeals to my OCD. This is a fully air-cooled build because my paranoia and liquid cooling don't mix. I was a bit worried about the gigantic chonkus of a GPU being really close to the PSU shroud at first - but the top of the shroud's vented and the highest temperatures I've ever clocked were around 70 degrees Celsius under load.
Shot this on an old GoPro HERO4 Silver - pretty much the smallest camera I had that I could safely fit inside the case while playing around with some low-light settings on Protune.
