As a team we forge a Damascus cleaver with a wrought iron body. @WillStelterbladesmith forges some Hex mosaic Damascus that he started at Matt Harris' Hammer in. He then forges 3 bars of that into one bar and then Matt twists that bar the become the edge bar. The body and handle of our cleaver is forged by Chris and then the wrought iron and Damascus are forge welded together and the final shape of the cleaver is formed by striking with Will and Chris working together. The final outcome is striking and top notch quality as well as cutting geometry.
