In this lets play video of Oxygen Not Included, we start digging out our base with our 3 starting dupes. My plan is to have a few dupes in the beginning of the game and then add more dupes later, this is to save resources. I was able to get some of the essentials built in this episode of Oxygen Not Included. We were able to make cots so that the dupes have a place to sleep. We are able to generate power by using the manual generator, along with the tiny battery. The dupes poop on the floor because I forgot to build a couple of outhouses. We put in a research station and super computer to conduct research. We were able to get the farming tech so that we can make an algae terrarium farm for oxygen and make a planter box for the mealice so that we can make food. I use an algae deoxydizer as backup for oxygen production. The compost was made so that we can take the contaminated dirt from the outhouse to make fertilizer. We also researched decor manly for the ceiling lamp, since it helps the algae terrarium produce more oxygen. As you can see there is a lot to do in getting started in building a base in Oxygen Not Included :P
Oxygen Not Included is a base building game where you must help your dupes survive a hostile environment. Unlike other survival type games, in Oxygen Not included, not only do you have to worry about food and water, but you must also worry about the different gases and temperatures in your base. Oxygen rises and Carbon Dioxide falls, this could cause problems for your dupes that are working in lower sections of your base. There are also some creatures that live in the world; like the hatch, the morb, and the slime pooping puft.
Oxygen Not Included is still in the early stages of development, so there will be bugs and what is shown here will most likely change.
