What happened to the forgotten Black Mario Characters?

First and foremost is African Mario, from the Mario X Qix port. This Mario game features many different Marios from Around the world such as a Mexican Mario, Spanish Mario, Indian Mario, Chinese Mario, English Mario, and an African Mario.

However Nintendo tries to hide this one under the rug as African Mario is pretty much a form of black face.

There is also Fun Gus the Black Coded Toad Character from Mario Party for the Nintendo 64. While he may not be confirmed to be of African decent, he is heavily black coded.

And then of course there is Golf Kid from Mario Golf. According to his character bio he started playing Golf at the age of 4 and became a prodigy by the age of 10, if that sounds familiar, yes this character is based off of Tiger Woods.
