Día 1 de Test de Pretemporada en el Circuito Internacional de Baréin, en Sakhir. Una sesión azotada por tormentas de arena. Los resultados son sorprendentes y muy lejos de la regularidad de la pretemporada de los últimos años. Mercedes empieza con problemas de fiabilidad y manejo. Alpha Tauri, Mclaren, Alpine y Aston Martin sorprenden. Red Bull y Verstappen dominan con contundencia. Sorpresa de Williams, Roy Nissany , piloto de pruebas, consigue mejor tiempo que los Haas (y que Bottas). Mazepin y Schumacher debutan en Haas con un resultado que era de esperar.
